Man arrested in Wisconsin abduction, shooting

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (WLS) -- Stan Sillas is under arrest after allegedly abducting a woman and shooting at a deputy.

Sillas was found hiding in the bushes in the 5300-block of Taylor Avenue in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, on Monday afternoon. Officials have not said if he was injured in the incident.

Police said Sillas abducted a female employee at a Rochester hospital on Sunday. She was released in a Union Grove parking lot, where he was confronted by a sheriff's deputy.

With bystanders near, police said Sillas fired several shots at the deputy. No one was hurt.
