CHICGAO (WLS) -- A person was killed in a crash on the Stevenson Expressway in Chicago Monday morning, Illinois State Police said.
The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. in the outbound lanes of I-55 just south of Harlem Avenue.
ISP said a Honda HRV crashed into the back of a semi-tractor-trailer.

Police said the 31-year-old man from Summit driving the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed may have been a contributing factor to the crash, police said.
All lanes of the expressway were shut down between Harlem and Central avenues, with traffic being diverted off at Central Avenue. Shortly after 8:30 a.m., outbound lanes reopened.
