CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police say they are speaking with two people of interest in connection Sunday with the toddler who was struck and killed while being pushed in a stroller Saturday afternoon.

There are two separate cases police are trying to build. First, a shooting at 77th and Kingston Saturday afternoon, which left 22-year-old rapper Marvin Carr, known as "Capo," dead. Then the fatal accident three and a half miles away that took the life of 13-month-old Dillan Harris as the suspects fled the shooting.

Relatives say that Dillan, his mother and several other family members were waiting on the bus at 63rd and Ellis when the suspect's vehicle jumped the curb and slammed into the infant's stroller.

"They're still traumatized," said community activist Andrew Holmes. "Reality hasn't really sunk in yet, but they are a close knit family and are trying to comfort the mother."

Police are able to hold the two subjects they are questioning for a while longer before the State's Attorney has to file charges. Those could come as early as Sunday or Monday.
