Pair of crashes slow traffic on I-355

WOODRIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- A pair of crashes is slowing afternoon traffic in the southbound lanes of I-355 near 71st Street in west suburban Woodridge.

The first accident involved a vehicle and a semi-truck and was off on the shoulder. No one was injured in that crash.

Then, a van struck them and two people trapped inside the van had to be extricated.

Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
