Metra train strikes, kills man, BNSF schedule delayed

LA GRANGE, Ill. (WLS) -- Service was delayed Tuesday night for commuters using Metra's BNSF line after a train hits and kills a man on the tracks.

Police say the 66-year-old man was hit just before 7:30 p.m. near the La Grange Road stop.

Service has resumed but there are still delays Tuesday evening.
