Chicago aldermen seek to remove street sign honoring Trump

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago aldermen are fighting to take down a street sign honoring Donald Trump.

The sign is located in the River North neighborhood near Trump's namesake tower on the Chicago River.

Ald. Brendan Reilly (42nd Ward) proposed an ordinance to get rid of the sign honoring "Trump Plaza."

Ten other aldermen support Reilly's idea, criticizing the Republican's presidential campaign as "racist and hateful" against immigrants and minorities.
