U.S. Navy veteran, military dog reunited at Midway Airport

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A pair of U.S. heroes who teamed up in Iraq got back together Friday afternoon at Midway Airport.

U.S. Navy vet Chris Spears reunited with his old military working dog Rossi. It's been four and a half years since they have seen each other.

Spears says Rossi saved his life one night, waking him up right before a rocket attack. The group Mission K9 Rescue made this reunion possible.

The now-retired German shepherd has a lot of couch time in his future, and Spears says he will get all the Cheetos he wants.
