Top 2022 wedding trends as coronavirus pandemic continues

CHICAGO (WLS) -- For the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has altered many major life events, and weddings are a big one.

What's arguably one of the biggest moments in many people's lives has taken a back seat to COVID: from virtual ceremonies, to significantly scaled-back in-person guest lists, to postponing the "I do's" indefinitely.

But as year three of this pandemic begins, many couples are choosing to tie the knot, despite COVID. If you're one of those couples, there are a few things to keep in mind that could make wedding planning a little easier.
