CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some doctors are now saying a key to losing weight may not be just what you eat but also when you eat.

They say many people change up their eating schedule, like eating Monday's breakfast at 6 a.m. and Sunday brunch at 11 a.m.

That that cause what they call "metabolic jet lag," which can disrupt your body's ability to metabolize the food.

Doctors also suggest trying to shrink the time from your first meal of the day to your last. Instead of from when you wake up to when you go to bed, they suggest eating your daily meals within a 10-hour window.
