MACOMB, Ill. (WLS) -- A violent brawl caught on camera on the campus of Western Illinois University ended with three people arrested and two in the hospital.
Officials say the fight broke out around 11 p.m. Friday night after an end-of-the-year dance organized by the Black Student Association.
Campus officials say fights started in the University Union. Officers were able to get control of the crowd, but more fights broke out on the street just outside the union.
Police were forced to use pepper spray because the crowd got out of control.
It is unclear what caused the violence and university officials said the incident is under investigation.
