CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 58-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while jogging near the lakefront in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood, police said.
The victim was jogging around 11:10 a.m. Friday in the 5700-block of South Lake Shore Drive when the offender allegedly approached her from behind and pulled her to the ground in a semi-secluded area. He then physically restrained her while sexually assaulting her, police said.
The offender is described as a 23 to 25-year-old African American male between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-1 weighing 150-160 pounds. Police said his hair was in short braids.
