CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Cubs will take the Commissioner's Trophy, the team's World Series trophy, on a tour across the Midwest, the team announced.
The tour kicks off Friday, Dec. 9 at the new official Cubs Team Store at 663 N. Michigan Avenue. Fans will be able to take their photo with the trophy from noon until 3 p.m.
The tour will continue on Thursday, Dec. 15 at City Hall. Fans can see the trophy from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. that day.
The team will also take the trophy to Rockford, Champaign, Peoria, Springfield, and other cities across the Midwest.
