CHICAGO (WLS) -- He's already become a fan favorite but it's what Kyle Schwarber did on Friday for an 8-year-old fan that may endear him even more.
Schwarber spotted the boy in the crowd outside of Wrigley Field, pointed to him and tossed him his World Series hat.
Noah Perez has muscular dystrophy and was cheering on the team as they left the ballpark Friday morning.
The gesture nearly moved his mother to tears.
"Oh my God, that's just amazing. Knowing that Noah loves to watch the Cubs. You know, he can't play sports but his heart drives for baseball," Lilly Perez, Noah's mother, said.
She said Noah was overcome with excitement.
