It happened around 8:30 Wednesday morning near 7100 S. Chicago Ave. The truck was carrying chocolate when the driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled across the outbound lanes. It hit another vehicle and crashed through a guardrail. Part of the truck was hanging over the barrier wall.
Traffic on the Skyway was blocked in both directions as crews tried to move the truck.
The three people hurt in the crash are expected to be okay.
