Fire breaks out at West Side apartment building

Chicago firefighters battled a blaze in a West Side apartment building late Tuesday night. The fire broke out on the top floor of the three-story building at Madison and Sacramento around midnight.

The fire forced workers in a restaurant on the first floor of the building to evacuate. The apartments above the business have been vacant and boarded up for some time.

No one was hurt.

It's not clear yet how the fire started.

In 2006, a fire in the very same apartment building killed two cousins.
