Chase to offer scholarships to CPS students

CHICAGO The bank is offering incentives for students at Dunbar, Phillips and the Dyett Academic Center.

Students at each school can earn up to $10,000 for good attendance, good grades and test scores.. Chicago Public Schools CEO Arne Duncan says the program is the first of its kind.

"We have never had that kind of opportunity for students to see real money every day for good behavior, grades, attendance being put away for college. I think it's going to be an unbelievably motivating factor," he said.

Parents of students at the high schools can also help their children earn cash for college by attending a variety of workshops.
