Investigation at hospital over deadly doses

Officials at the Corpus Christi Hospital admit that 17 premature infants received 100 times the recommended dosage of heparin.

One infant died Tuesday and his twin sister has also died. What's unclear is if the drug mistake definitely caused the deaths.

Twelve other babies are in critical condition.

A preliminary investigation found that an error occurred as the drug was being mixed in the hospital pharmacy one week ago.

The mistake was discovered by nurses on Sunday night.
