Authorities say more than 100 people have been displaced after a three-alarm fire at a multiunit apartment complex in West Chicago. The West Chicago Fire Protection District says the fire was reported at 8:52 p.m. Sunday at a 24-unit apartment complex on Burr Oak Road.

No one was injured in the blaze, but 107 occupants of the building were displaced.

The Red Cross set up a shelter inside a local community center near the fire scene for some 30 residents who did not have anywhere else to stay.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation early Monday.
