Simple Pecan Pie

Use your favorite pie crust recipe or a pre-made pie crust.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tblsp butter
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 oz bourbon (optional, but makes all the difference)
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • Stir eggs, add next six ingredients and stir well. Add pecan halves and pour into baked pie shell. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until set. Serve warm with homemade whip cream and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. Enjoy, your friends at PIE.
