Naperville residents honor Mumbai victims, call for peace

A somber display of support and solidarity for victims of November's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India took place in the Chicago area Sunday.A candle-lighting ceremony in Naperville featured a prayer of unity and global peace. Members of Naperville's Indian community were joined by other city leaders in peacefully denouncing terrorism.

One hundred seventy-one people died in a series of attacks on tourist-heavy landmarks that included hotels and restaurants.

Indian officials say a group of Pakistani militants is responsible for those attacks.
