April 14, 2009 (SEQUIM, Wash.) --Residents in a town near Seattle are asking for a tax break because a purple house has ruined their views.Sequim, Wash., residents have been upset since the barn-like apartment building went up. Neighbors say they hate looking at the purple building. They've asked the owners to repaint it. But they live in California and do not want to change the color.
No one is living in any of the four apartments in the purple residence, and that is making the neighbors angry, too.
The county assessor has not yet decided to reassess the neighborhood. The earliest that could happen would be next year.
