Police wound man, 22, in shooting

An investigation is underway into a police involved shooting on Chicago's South Side. It happened Monday night near 72nd and Winchester. An officer shot and wounded a 22-year-old man after investigators say he pointed a gun at officers.

The man is in stable condition.

It started when police responded to a call of a person with a gun. When they arrived, investigators say, the man led officers on a foot chase before pulling his weapon.
