Woman pays back money in ice cream theft

June 2, 2009 (DEERFIELD, Ill.) A woman was seen on tape apparently stealing money from a 12-year-old girl.

It happened last month at a Baskin Robbins store.

While the girl was distracted the woman picked up the girl's 20 dollar bill and walked away.

Police said last week it may have been an accident. The Pioneer Press reported on Tuesday night that the women has come forward and has arranged to pay back the money.
