3rd teen charged in brutal attack

A third teenager is charged as an adult in connection with the attack of a south suburban girl that was recorded on a cell phone video camera. Dusty Miller, 17, is now charged with aggravated battery. Authorities say Miller drove the getaway car after the June 2 attack in Sauk Village.

Detectives say 17-year-old Mercedes Michaels was kicked, burned with a cigarette lighter on her face and arm and had her hair cut off.

Sarah Kraft, 17, and 17-year-old Marcelene Castillo were also charged as adults with felony aggravated battery. Two other girls, ages 15 and 16, are charged as juveniles.
