One of two young men charged in the death of a Chicago student on a CTA bus has changed his plea from not guilty to guilty. In 2007 16-year-old Blair Holt was killed when he tried to shield a friend as one of the accused opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon. Four others were wounded.

Kevin Jones, now 17 years old, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. He had been charged as an adult and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He had been accused of providing the murder weapon. Monday, his mother apologized to the Holt family.

"I'm sorry for the whole family and what happened to their son, and I'm sorry for my son and what has happened," said Karin Jones, Kevin Jones' mother.

The trial for accused shooter Michael Pace is scheduled to begin later this week.
