Emergency crews were called to the scene.
One resident said he heard the wind kick up and then a loud crash.
"I wasn't really aware of the storm for more than about five minutes, until the strong winds came, and I went to the computer to check the weather. And [a tree] came down right on the garage," Gino Velazquez said.
One vehicle ended up on top of a large fallen tree. No one was hurt.
