Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina says he is not going to apologize on the U.S. House of Representatives floor for his outburst during President Obama's health care speech last week.Democratic leaders plan to propose a resolution of disapproval this week if the South Carolina Republican does not apologize to Congress for yelling out "You lie!"
Wilson says he called the White House after the speech Wednesday night and apologized. He said the White House accepted the apology, and that's good enough for him.
Wilson says he still believes the president was mis-stating the facts when he said illegal immigrants would not qualify for government health care.
