September 21, 2009 (CHICAGO) --The defense in James Degorski's trial is expected to rest its case when court resumes Tuesday morning. Degorski is the second man to be tried for the 1993 murders at the Brown's Chicken and Pasta Restaurant in Palatine. Seven people were herded into the restaurant's walk-in cooler and shot and killed.
Juan Luna was convicted 2 years ago. He is now serving a life sentence.
Both men were arrested after Degorski's former girlfriend told police 10 years later that he confessed to her about his role in the crime.
