November 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) --A bank robber involved a shooting that killed a bank teller in Chicago enters a guilty plea. As part of a plea deal, Alton Marshall agrees to testify against another suspect in the deadly robbery in May of 2007. Marshall will receive a 20 year sentence.
The teller killed was Tramaine Gibson. His father argued in court Thursday against the proposed 20-year sentence.
The judge says she will read more materials in the case before deciding whether to accept the plea deal.
