Rev. Jackson in Haiti: "It's inexplicable"

January 20, 2010 (CHICAGO) Jackson arrived there Tuesday. He says he is trying to help mobilize doctors and nurses in Haiti, but he explained that one major problem is getting water and medicine from the airport to hospitals that need it.

" It's inexplicable why you can't get water from the airport to general hospitals, medicine from the airport that is on the ground to the hospital. So this issue of coordination, who ever is in charge of joint coordination, I hope it happens in a day. Lives have been lost," he said.

Reverend Jackson also noted that the search and rescue efforts seem to end at sundown. He stressed that they needs to be round-the-clock in order to find anyone who may still be alive.
