An accident Tuesday morning near Lowell killed two people.
Indiana State Police say the SUV was traveling southbound when the driver lost control, crossed into the northbound lanes and hit the semi head on.
Two people in the SUV were killed.
The truck driver was shaken up in the accident but not injured.
The accident forced the closure of a 10-mile stretch of the expressway for most of the morning.
