Former comptroller candidate looks to continue career

February 28, 2010 (CHICAGO) "The things that we ran on are issues that I believe very passionately about: more open government, more transparency in government. And I think anyway that I can serve in a capacity that would further those causes, I'd like to be able to do so," Raja Krishnamoorthi told ABC7 Chicago Sunday.

Krishnamoorthi also says he is talking with state Democratic advisors about the possibility of becoming Gov. Pat Quinn's running mate.

The state democratic committee will determine who will be on the ballot for lieutenant governor this November.

Although Scott Lee Cohen won the nomination, he dropped out of the race following questions about his past.
