His owner got a phone call from Chicago Animal Control saying the feline had been found in our city.
Charles has a microchip under his fur with all his owner's information. It's not known how the cat made the 1,300 mile journey.
His owner is feverishly working on a way to get him home because animal control says Charles will have to be euthanized if she can't pick him up within the next few days.
