Forty-eight-year-old Donna Dowell faces several charges of theft and possession of a controlled substance. Investigators say she worked in the pharmacy section at the Jewel on the 6100-block of Northwest Highway.
The store manager says Dowell was caught on surveillance video stealing cash from the register.
Dowell is suspected of taking up to $10,000 over a 10-week period.
Police say they found controlled substances on Dowell believed to have come from the store's pharmacy.
