Eric Gilford had been on the run since his wife Kristine was stabbed to death at a home in Villa Park back in May.
Gilford's car was found the following day in Fargo, North Dakota. Investigators eventually tracked him to a homeless shelter in Jackson, Wyoming. He was arrested there Thursday.
Gilford is charged with first degree murder and intentional homicide of an unborn child. He is being held at a Wyoming jail pending an extradition hearing.
