Last season, it came down to Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and figure skater Evan Lysacek.

Now, the speculations and surprises abound as the next cast will be revealed Monday night.

"Brady Bunch" mom Florence Henderson has been a rumored cast member, though some had guessed Morgan Fairchild would be on the cast.

Rumors started late that singer Michael Bolton would suddenly be one of the contestants on "Dancing with the Stars." That would be representative of the Donny Osmond-age area.

And at least one athlete always makes the cast. One that has been strongly rumored is Kurt Warner, an NFL star who is fairly conservative but well liked. One red herring from last season who has resurfaced again is Rick Fox, a former basketball player who used to be married to Vanessa Williams.

There were strong rumors that Bristol Palin, teen mom and daughter of 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin of Alaska will dance.

Another strongly rumored contestant is a Jersey Shore cast member after host Tom Bergeron on "America's Funniest Home Videos" made mention of a "Situation" this season on "DWTS."

Following the success in casting female comedienne Niecy Nash, the show is rumored to have cast comedienne Margaret Cho, who last appeared on ABC years ago on her short-lived sitcom "American Girl."

On Sunday's Emmy Awards red carpet, co-host Brooke Burke said she thinks some reality stars like Audrina Patridge from "The Hills" is probably 99 percent likely to be on board.

The cast is going to be announced during "The Bachelor Pad" Monday evening on ABC.
