It happened in the 1200-block of North Harding Avenue.
Police say a gunman approached a group of people standing on a corner and opened fire.
A 25-year-old man in the group was struck in the leg and taken in serious condition to a local hospital.
A boy whose age hasn't been released suffered a graze wound.
Police have not yet caught the shooter.
