Attackers are targeting residential construction sites where workers are mostly Hispanic and Polish.
Police warn construction crews that there have been more than 10 robberies in the Gage Park neighborhood over the last few months.
In one case, a victim was shot. Workers and property owners in the area are advised to keep doors locked when they're working inside buildings.
