The event began at Montrose Harbor. Money raised by the walk goes to the American Cancer Society for research, education and helping those coping with breast cancer. ABC7 was a proud sponsor of the walk.
ABC7's Roz Varon is a breast cancer survivor, and took part in the walk with ABC7's Judy Hsu.
A new taxi service was also launched Sunday. A portion of each fare collected by the Pink Taxi Cabs will go toward education and breast cancer research.
