Report: Children's museum not in new Grant Park plans

A 20-acre stretch of Chicago's Grant Park -- known as Daley Bicentennial Plaza -- is about to undergo a huge transformation.

Chicago Park District officials announced the project will start next fall and last about two years.

The Chicago Tribune says the plan calls for transforming the park into a space with walking paths, a new ice rink and rolling hills.

One thing apparently not in the plans is the Chicago Children's Museum. The possibility of moving it there from Navy Pier has been talked about for more than a year.
