Man wanted for questioning in South Bend murder

January 19, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Police think he could be armed, dangerous and in Chicago.

Manuel Clemon, 44, also known as Manuel Scott, is wanted by police and for questioning about the murder of a 42-year-old mother of two, Deshone Caradine. Her body was found early Wednesday in her South Bend, Indiana, home at the St. James Court Apartments on North Eddy Street.

Police later found her car by a bank at 87th and Winchester in Chicago. Investigators also found evidence at a nearby hotel in the 8900-block of South Ashland where Clemon may have stayed.

Police also looked for Clemon at a nearby home.

At this point, the suspect has not been charged, but his name and picture have been released because police believe he could be dangerous.
