People chanted "Save our principals" Thursday night after learning that contracts will not be renewed for all ten principals in School District 89.
That district serves the Melrose Park, Broadview and Maywood area.
The school board president says contracts weren't renewed because the school district is going through a restructuring process with a new superintendent.
The school board president says the principals will be allowed to re-apply for their jobs.
