Nat'l Public Housing Museum's 'An Afternoon of Good Times'

On Sunday, April 15, 2012, the National Public Housing Museum (link: www.nphm.org) honors three leaders for their extraordinary contribution to the well-being of inner city residents and communities. Julia Stasch, Vice President of US Programs for the Chicago-based MacArthur Foundation, Luis Ubinas, President of the Ford Foundation, and Kenny Gamble, the Grammy Award-winning Philadelphia-based singer, song-writer and his company Universal Companies, will receive the Museum's highest honors.

ABC7 is a media sponsor of the benefit event called, "Afternoon of Good Times." The keynote speaker is Steve Pemberton, author of "A Chance In The World" and Chief Diversity Officer & Divisional Vice President of Walgreens. Pemberton came into our ABC7 studio along with Keith L. Magee, President & CEO of The National Public Housing Museum, to tell us about the event
