Report: Caffeine does not worsen incontinence

April 27, 2012

Research funded by the National Institutes of Health finds the extra caffeine does not make the condition worse.

It's been unclear whether a daily caffeine habit is tied to worsening incontinence over the long run.

This report in the Journal Obstetrics and Gynecology says they did not find a connection after following patients for two years

The findings cannot say whether caffeine might have a short term impact by making women need to go sooner.
