CPS Engineering Workshops

The Chicago Public Library is working with the James Dyson Foundation this summer to present fun, hands-on engineering and design workshops for kids.

They invite kids to think of a problem in their lives and solve it with engineering. Edgebrook Elementary School 4th-graders Maren and Phoebe McChesney and Declan Dunham were part of one recent workshop and they joined us in the studio to show us what they did. We were also joined by Erin Webb and Valerie Silvis of the J.D.F. Links: www.chipublib.org and www.jamesdysonfoundation.com
