Zero-energy building constructed in Chicago

DasHAUS is an international pavillion showcasing advanced renewable energy and energy-efficiency solutions from Germany. The zero-energy building was constructed in Chicago's Daley Plaza and is open for tours on Friday.

The site was created as an opportunity for Chicagoans to learn about sustainability technologies in an experiential, hands-on format.

The building features a fully functional demonstration of integrated energy efficiency and renewable energy systems from Germany.
