24-minute dashcam of Carlton Fisk DUI in cornfield

October 23, 2012 (NEW LENOX, Ill.)

Fisk, a member of baseball's Hall of Fame, was found Monday evening in a New Lenox cornfield passed out at the wheel of his pick-up truck, police said. Officers arrested the retired all-star and booked him on DUI charges.

Although he refused to answer police questions or submit to a blood-alcohol test, the I-Team has learned that authorities have a 24 minute dash-cam video of the arrest. Authorities say they found an open "handle" of Rue 33, a Sam's Club private-label vodka.

Police report they received a call around 7:20 p.m. Monday night about a car in the cornfield at Gougar Road and Spencer Road in the south suburb. New Lenox police say when officers arrived in the cornfield they found Fisk unconscious in the driver's seat of his F-150. The truck also had a flat tire. It had crossed the lane of oncoming traffic before veering into the cornfield, although did not strike any other vehicles.
