There is a new head of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority.

Governor Pat Quinn's spokesman, and his chosen candidate for the job, Kelly Kraft has been picked.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has questioned Kraft's experience.

An Emanuel spokesperson said it is unfortunate the board didn't consider the Mayor's top pick, former Sara Lee executive Diana Ferguson.

The authority manages U.S. Cellular Field as well as building and renovating sport stadiums.
