The burglars smash through the glass of front doors and force their way into the building, where they open cash registers. Police say they are targeting dry cleaners and drug stores.
The first report or a burglary was in the 100-block of West Huron, the next in 600-block of North Dearborn and the latest was in the 100-block of West Kinzie.
