Squad car accident leaves 2 on motorcycle hurt in Chicago Lawn area; officers OK

The Southwest Side accident happened around 12:45 a.m. at Western Avenue and 71st Street in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

According to police, a man and a woman on the motorcycle were seriously hurt and taken to the hospital.

Investigators say alcohol was involved.

The police officers involved were said to be OK.
